During the talks, the issue of the "illegal confiscation" of Russian diplomatic property in the United States was raised. Russia appealed for considering the restoration of direct flights. Both sides agreed on steps aimed at ensuring uninterrupted funding and normal operations of embassies.

The Special Envoy of the US President to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, noted that the United States is interested in the extraction of rare earth metals in Russia.
