Bologna FC has emerged as the season's surprise in the Italian league. They are in fourth place, trailing Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Juventus FC, and they are vying for a Champions League spot.

Over the weekend, Bologna had an opportunity to leapfrog Juventus for third place in the table. However, they drew 1-1 with Udinese Calcio, a team fighting to avoid relegation, and missed the chance to move up.

Following the match, Riccardo Orsolini had a poignant moment with his mother at the Stadio Renato dall'Ara. His mother was deeply moved to see her son play, considering he hails from Ascoli Piceno, more than 186 miles south of Bologna.

Riccardo, 28 and one of the team's most influential players shared this special occasion with his mother on the field, stepping away from the usual post-match routine for a warm embrace.

Orsolini, a significant figure at Bologna FC and one of the team members with the longest tenure cherishes the idea of bringing his family to a Champions League match at the Stadio Renato dall'Ara.
