It takes very little to quickly prepare an interesting, original, and, most importantly, tasty dinner for the whole family? A ready recipe is waiting for you.

In the spring menu, kebabs cannot be missing. They usually dominate on grills. However, this does not mean that you can't prepare and bake them at home. The recipe below is the best proof of that. When I serve it, no one complains. On the contrary, there is no end to the compliments.

Besides the taste values, it should be emphasized that the entire dish can be made in a quick and simple way. Just marinate the meat, thread it onto skewer sticks and bake it with potato boats. You cannot remain indifferent to such a combination of flavours.

When chicken kebabs with potato boats appear on the table, no one needs to be called twice for dinner

Ingredients:

Marinade:

  • 70g grated parmesan,
  • 1.5 tablespoons of dried oregano,
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet paprika,
  • 1 teaspoon of dried garlic,
  • 1/3 teaspoon of cumin,
  • 1.5 teaspoons of salt,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper,
  • 120ml of olive oil.

Other ingredients:

  • 3 chicken fillets,
  • about 800g of potatoes.

How to prepare:

Step 1. I start working on the recipe by preparing the kebabs. For this purpose, I thoroughly clean and dry the chicken breasts. Then I cut them into smaller pieces and transfer them to a bowl.

Step 2. In a separate container, I make a homemade marinade based on: olive oil, grated parmesan, dried oregano, sweet paprika, dried garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper.

Step 3. I thoroughly mix the contents of the bowl, then combine it with the previously prepared meat. Marinated pieces of chicken are threaded onto the end of wooden skewer sticks and set aside.

Step 4. I also use potatoes in the recipe, which I cut into smaller pieces. As a result, I get vegetable boats. I spread them at the bottom of the baking dish.

Step 5. On top of the same dish, I arrange the kebabs with chicken pieces, then gently pour the remaining marinade over them. The entire dish goes into a preheated oven for 40 minutes. The oven should be set to 180 degrees Celsius during this time.

Step 6. I garnish the finished dish with fresh parsley and serve it with your favourite sauce. Enjoy your meal!
