The oven, an indispensable kitchen partner, often becomes a place where grease and food residues accumulate. Regular cleaning is key to keeping the appliance in good condition and avoiding tedious scrubbing.

Natural ways to keep your oven clean

One of the simplest methods is to use a baking soda and lemon mixture. Combining these ingredients creates a paste that deals well with dried-on stains.

Another effective method is to create a homemade spray based on vinegar and water. Spray the inside of the oven and then wipe with a sponge. This method not only removes dirt but also disinfects it.

How to effectively use dishwasher tablets?

A less common but extremely effective trick is to use a dishwasher tablet. First, place a dishwasher tablet in an oven-safe dish with water, put it in an oven preheated to 100°C, and leave it for about two hours. The steam released during this process softens the grime and burnt-on food, making it easier to wipe off with a regular cloth.

You can also drop a dishwasher tablet in a small dish with hot water. This will create a strong cleaning solution. Apply it generously to the oven using a soft sponge, then lay paper towels over the surface and leave for an hour. After this time, remove the paper and wipe the oven again.
