Putin's odd leg movement and reinvention of history in Tucker Carlson interview

It's noteworthy that many statements made by the Russian media, as well as government representatives, often serve as elements of propaganda. Such reports form a significant part of the information warfare being waged by the Russian Federation.

Tucker Carlson has uploaded the much-anticipated conversation with Vladimir Putin on his website. Since the outset, the contentious interview conducted by the American journalist has been inundated with cliches and propaganda-laden content spanning historical and contemporary issues.

Carlson reported that the interview lasted more than two hours altogether and was conducted on a Tuesday evening. The pair sat in comfortable chairs at a small table. Notably, a familiar thermos containing tea was placed in front of Putin, which, as the Kremlin's press spokesman attests, accompanies him to all meetings. On Carlson's side of the table was a glass of water.

Putin's peculiar movements

During the interview, Anton Gerashchenko, former Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, pointed out Putin's unusual leg movements. He shared a video on a certain website highlighting the instance where Putin's foot twisted upwards unexpectedly. Having identified the odd movement, the Russian President had to use his hand to halt his leg.

"What is happening with Putin's leg?" Gerashchenko queried.
