Nokia smartphones have long been a symbol of reliability and durability in the mobile market. However, it seems that this unique era is drawing to a close. HMD Global, the company responsible for producing and selling devices bearing the Nokia logo, has decided to withdraw these phones from its offerings. Although these smartphones were still available for purchase for a while, they are now being replaced by modern models under HMD's own brand. What does this mean for Nokia fans, and will the legendary producer completely disappear from the market?

Is a farewell to the legendary brand approaching?

Nokia is a brand that has been synonymous with reliability and innovation in the mobile phone market for years. With the dynamic development of technology, Nokia smartphones have also gained recognition, especially among users who value reliability and durability. However, at the beginning of this year, HMD Global announced that it is giving up the production of Nokia brand smartphones, which surprised many enthusiasts of the iconic phone.

Although the phones could still be found on store shelves, it was clear that their time was coming to an end. Nokia smartphones became relics of the past, and HMD Global focused on producing devices under its own brand. This move symbolises a farewell to an era in which Nokia was one of the key players in the mobile market.

Popular company withdraws Nokia smartphones from its offer

The decision to withdraw Nokia smartphones from HMD Global's offerings was inevitable. Although these devices could still be found in some stores in recent months, warehouse stocks began to dwindle. Currently, Nokia models are no longer available on the official HMD Global websites in Europe. Interestingly, in other regions of the world, such as Asia, Africa, and Latin America, Nokia smartphones are still available, but their days are numbered there, too.

For many users, this may be sad news, particularly as Nokia was synonymous with durability and simplicity, especially when the market was not yet so heavily dominated by smartphones with Android or iOS systems. Although technical support for existing Nokia devices is still available, HMD Global has completely shifted to developing its own more modern and budget-friendly models.
