New season of "The White Lotus" set to dazzle in exotic Thailand

HBO has released an online video showcasing the largest series productions dedicated to the Max streaming platform. Among the previews are short clips from the third season of "The White Lotus." The previous season was very popular, earning actress Jennifer Coolidge a Golden Globe.

The anthology series "The White Lotus" is one of HBO's best productions in recent years. The first two parts gathered many fans, and critics gave the production high ratings. The first season won as many as 11 Emmy Awards (including Best Limited Series), and the second won two Golden Globes – Best Series and Best Supporting Actress.

After the second series finale, it was known that Jennifer Coolidge would not appear in the third. "I'm jealous of everyone that's going. I just want to stress I'm not a good sport about it, but there's nothing I can do. When they kill you, you have to accept it. Because it means they're not calling for your costume sizes or anything," the actress said in one of the interviews.

What do we know about the third season of "The White Lotus"? After paradisiacal Hawaii in the first and picturesque Sicily in the second, we will move to exotic Thailand in the third. As befits an anthology, we will meet new characters in the upcoming part, but some figures known from previous series episodes will return.

In an interview with "Entertainment Weekly," the scriptwriter, Mike White, said: "It's going to be longer, bigger, crazier. I don't know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that's a good thing ... I'm super excited about the content of the season".
