Cleaning the toilet is not one of the most pleasant tasks. Keeping it perfectly clean doesn't always have to involve strong and corrosive fluids. Natural products prove to be a better alternative, effectively cleaning and keeping it fresh for a long time.
These ingredients will transform your toilet
The best and simplest natural cleaning agent is vinegar. It's not only a much cheaper and more environmentally friendly substitute, but it also tackles dirt effortlessly. With vinegar, you'll get rid of unwanted deposits with minimal effort. Vinegar not only works well for the toilet, but also removes streaks and limescale in the shower or sink.
Another agent that effectively handles dirt is bicarbonate of soda. It has whitening, antibacterial, and cleansing properties. With it, you can eliminate all stains and impurities. It's best to pour half a cup of bicarbonate of soda into the bowl and then add the same amount of vinegar. This mixture will quickly react, producing foam that will eliminate all dirt, bacteria, and unpleasant odours.
Homemade toilet cleaner tabs. How to make them?
In addition to using natural cleaning agents, it's worth making a natural toilet cleaner tab. It will ensure cleanliness and a beautiful scent that will be noticeable throughout the bathroom.
Simply grate two bars of soap using a coarse grater. Put the shavings into a pot and add about 100 millilitres of water. Then heat the pot on the stove, stirring the contents until everything is thoroughly dissolved. Now add a little floor cleaner. Once the solution is ready and slightly cooled, pour it into ice cube moulds and place it in the freezer. After a few hours, when the cubes are frozen, you can place them in a plastic basket from an old toilet cleaner or mount them on a wire and hang them on the bowl.
