Cleaning the toilet is not one of the most pleasant tasks. However, it's important for aesthetic and hygiene reasons. Knowing a simple trick can help us do it quickly and effectively.

How to clean the toilet?

Many people opt to buy expensive chemical products that can swiftly remove dirt in the bathroom. However, there are much simpler and cheaper methods to achieve this. All you need to do is look into your own kitchen, where you can find many useful products for this purpose.

Although baking soda is commonly used for this, not everyone knows that you can also successfully use a dishwasher tablet. Simply drop it into the toilet overnight. In the morning, thoroughly clean the toilet bowl with a brush and you're done. There should be no trace of limescale or dirt left.

Mix and clean the toilet

The trick with the dishwasher tablet isn't the only way to tackle a dirty toilet bowl. You can also opt for a combination of two ingredients: a cup of apple cider vinegar and the juice of one lemon.

Pour this mixture into the toilet bowl, clean it with a brush, and leave it for about 20 minutes. After that, rinse thoroughly with water. The substances in the vinegar and lemon will help remove limescale and other dirt. You can also use an additional cup of baking soda for enhanced results.
