Warsaw was the city of Kylian Mbappe's official debut for Real Madrid. The Frenchman played, scored a goal, and helped the Royals win the UEFA Super Cup. After the match, he handed over the historic jersey to his father, Wilfried Mbappe.

The transfer of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid had been discussed for years. The transfer saga involving the global football star was often considered the longest in recent decades. Ultimately, signing Kylian Mbappe with the Spanish champions became a reality.

On Wednesday at 19:00 GMT, the Frenchman debuted for the Royals at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw. The UEFA Super Cup match took place in the capital of Poland, and Real Madrid won 2-0 against Atalanta BC.

The new player of Carlo Ancelotti's team showed promise, although he had just recently returned from holiday after Euro 2024. Kylian Mbappe scored a goal in his debut, contributing to the victory against the Italian opponent. It is known to whom he handed over the historic debut jersey shortly after the match.

Kylian Mbappe approached his father, Wilfried, who was in Warsaw on Wednesday. The Frenchman warmly greeted his father and chatted with him. They most likely talked about their impressions after the debut.

Wilfried Mbappe is a great enthusiast of his son's move to the prestigious club from Madrid. He accompanied his son during the presentation in the Royal colours. After the official party, he went to the club's store and bought 1,000 Real jerseys named Mbappe. He paid over £16,000 for them.

Kylian Mbappe's huge fans can now watch his moves in Real Madrid. The beginnings are promising, and soon, the Frenchman will also be seen in La Liga and the Champions League. Together with Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, and Luka Modric, he aims to dominate European football.
