Last season was dissapointing for Real Madrid as FC Barcelona lifted the Spanish championship. Yet, a year later, the Royals reclaimed their crown, celebrating the triumph on Saturday.
With a 3-0 win against Cadiz, Real Madrid now stand unbeatable at the summit of the Spanish league table. The team marked their national championship win at their home ground, initially celebrating with fans in the stands before continuing the festivities in the locker room.
In the locker room, Carlo Ancelotti stole the limelight. Although his dance moves were somewhat awkward, they added a delightful touch to the celebration as he danced alongside his team.
Ancelotti is well-known for his controlled reactions during games, maintaining his composure until the final whistle. Winning the Spanish championship, however, saw him fully embrace the moment of joy.
Having worked in Italy, England, and Germany, among other countries, Ancelotti's return to Real Madrid in 2021 came as a surprise but proved to be a masterstroke. Under his serene leadership, the star-studded team has thrived.
Real Madrid still have a crucial fixture remaining this season. They face Bayern Munich on Wednesday, aiming to secure their place in the Champions League final. Following a 2-2 draw in Germany, Ancelotti's men are the favourites to progress. A victory would see them chase another title at Wembley Stadium.
