The Academy Museum, opened in 2021 in Los Angeles, is the official headquarters of the organization that awards the Oscars. For three years, the gala has been held there, ceremoniously launching the awards season.
Guests include the biggest stars of cinema and pop culture. This year, the red carpet was graced by Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman, Uma Thurman, and Joaquin Phoenix. The Kardashian-Jenner sisters were also in attendance.
The sequin outfit "takes your breath away"
Kylie Jenner is known for her bold fashion choices, but this one will certainly make it to the top of the list. It’s undeniable that she enjoys drawing attention and camera flashes. This time, she opted for trendy see-throughs in an unusual version. Her outfit from the Academy Museum Gala consisted of two elements – a tight body made of transparent sequins and a black maxi skirt with symmetrical slits at the hips.
That's all it took. Kylie Jenner didn’t need to rely on jewellery, accessories, hairstyles, or makeup. Fashion fans will be interested to know that the celebrity's outfit is a Thierry Mugler design from the 1998 collection.
Kendall Jenner just as bold
Kylie Jenner posed on the red carpet with her sister, Kendall Jenner, who also made a bold choice with her gown. It seems that classic doesn’t interest them. Celebrities prefer to spice it up, choosing interesting fashion twists. The older sister appeared at the gala in a black Schiaparelli creation with a fantastically cut-out top adorned with a shiny brooch.
