The smiling King Charles III met with chemotherapy patients and staff at a London hospital. After returning to public duties, what did the monarch say about cancer treatment?

On Tuesday, King Charles and his wife Camilla visited a university hospital in London, which offers comprehensive services in diagnosing and treating various cancerous and non-cancerous diseases.

How is Charles III feeling? The smile faded from his face

When asked about his health, the monarch replied, "I'm alright, thank you." As reported by "Daily Mail," before the royal couple's arrival, a small group of dedicated fans gathered after information about the visit was leaked. A 69-year-old royal fan from Streatham in south London even prepared roses, which he gave to Charles and Camilla.

A royal representative said the monarch wants to show that you can work with cancer.

The King and the Queen met with Baroness Julia Neuberger, University College London Hospitals (UCLH) chair, and chief executive David Probert. Inside the centre, they talked with clinicians and learned more about innovative technologies at UCLH, including CT scanners used for early cancer detection.

Also on Tuesday (April 29), Prince William visited a company that was a finalist for the Earthshot Prize in Seaham in Durham County while his wife Kate continued her cancer treatment.
