According to media reports in Kyiv, a Russian drone struck the 33rd floor of a high-rise in the Pechersk district—an area that is both on the right bank and central to the city.
"Evacuation of people from the high-rise in the Pechersk district is underway. Following the attack by the hostile drone, a fire broke out. Fortunately, no one was injured. Emergency services are working on the scene," stated the city military administration.
Later, it was reported that the drone hit the building's technical floor.
Fragments of the drones also fell in the Holosiiv district. "The shock wave damaged windows in several apartments. We have no reports of any injuries. An area near a petrol station next to some garages is on fire. Firefighters are on the scene," informed the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko.
Debris from a shot-down drone also fell on a house in the Solomianskyi district, injuring one person. In the Obolon district, debris set a business centre building on fire. Additionally, a two-storey building in the Podil district caught fire.
Alerts in some regions have been ongoing since 19:30 (Chernihiv region). At present, the authorities do not report any losses in other parts of the country.
