The DeepState group has updated the war map of Ukraine. It shows that the Russians have taken control over several towns in the Kharkiv region. Near the village of Starytsia, a "massive gathering of Russians was noted". Analysts warn that "the situation could become exceptionally critical".

On Saturday before 5 am GMT, analysts from DeepState reported that near the town of Starytsia in the Kharkiv region, a group of about 100 Russians was detected. "This afternoon, more than a hundred soldiers started in columns before they stormed the village. This fact confirms that the enemy is conducting a full-scale operation" - we read.

In the red area (controlled by the Russians), the villages of: Striletska, Krasne, Pletnevka, Borysivka, Pylna, and Hatysche are found.

The fights are about the villages of: Morokhovets, Olynikove, and Lukyanov.

As DeepState reports, "the situation continues to deteriorate." "The enemy gradually introduces more significant forces into our territory. Infantry constantly enters, attacking groups in populated areas and trying to gain a foothold, re-supply, and continue movement. Support consists of a small amount of equipment, artillery, aviation, and also high drone activity"—we read in the statement published on Sunday at 6 a.m. GMT.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are trying to stop the Russians, as President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about in his evening speech on Saturday.

"Although the enemy's main task is to divert attention from other areas, without the introduction of reserves, the situation could become exceptionally critical. The enemy understands this, and the current situation is increasingly forcing the Defense Forces to intervene in this area"—DeepState reports.

The fighting group "Ostre Kartuzy", being part of the National Guard of Ukraine, confirms that heavy fighting is taking place in the region. "Due to the strong pressure of the Russians, our defenders had to retreat from some positions" - we read in the statement published on Telegram on Saturday evening.

Over 2,500 civilians have already been evacuated from border towns.
