Fans of "Mayor of Kingstown" will be able to watch the third season on SkyShowtime on 6 June. Jeremy Renner returned to his role, which was mainly associated with Hawkeye from Marvel movies and series in recent years. He also had memorable performances in "Mission Impossible—Rogue Nation," "New Start," and "Tag."
In promoting the new season of "Mayor of Kingstown," Michael Beach, who appears in it, gave an interview to The Direct, in which he mentioned the condition of his famous colleague. "Jeremy [Renner] is a war horse, man. I mean that guy, you know, he broke 38 bones. He actually died, which I didn't know until he told me, and he's been coming back," said Beach.
The actor emphasized that Renner "wasn't sure how it would be" after the accident. But he "was ready" when it came to shooting the series. "Every week, he feels stronger and stronger," revealed Beach.
When the crew returned to the "Mayor of Kingstown" set, there was "no interruption because of his physical abilities or not" of Renner. "He's in it doing it. He's great. Yeah, he's a great guy, man. And he's really as tough as nails," summed up Michael Beach, known from such hits as "Dahmer", "Aquaman", or "Recipe for Life". Jeremy Renner, apart from "Mayor of Kingstown", is preparing to shoot a new movie with Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly ("Queenpins"). There are also rumours about his return to the role of Hawkeye in the fifth part of "Avengers".
Jeremy Renner's accident
Jeremy Renner had a terrible accident in January 2023. The actor was helping neighbors clear snow in the area with a private plow, and this machine, weighing about 7 tons, crushed him when Renner tried to save his nephew from being crushed. The star paid a high price: he lost a lot of blood, had head, chest, and leg injuries, and over 30 broken bones. Doctors assessed his condition as critical but stable.
Two months later, in his first interview, he confessed that he had no regrets and would do it again, without hesitation, to save his family.
