Until last year, Jackson was married to actress Jodie Turner-Smith. The couple, who had been together since 2018, married after just a few months and have a daughter, who is now three years old. In October last year, it was announced that Turner-Smith had filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences".

When photos of Jackson with Lupita surfaced online, the media eagerly speculated about a romance. Unfortunately, they never even reached the stage of being officially together.
