The release of the iPhone 16 is approaching rapidly, and Apple fans' tension is rising. As usual, the Cupertino-based company plans to introduce revolutionary solutions that redefine mobile industry standards. Expectations are even higher because many features initially supposed to be in the iPhone 15 have been postponed to the next model. Will the iPhone 16 live up to these hopes? Or perhaps even exceed them? In this article, we will discuss the fundamental changes and innovations awaiting users of the new Apple flagship.

iPhone 16 - one of the most anticipated releases of 2024

iPhone 16 is one of the most essential technological releases of 2024. Apple has built enormous expectations around its products for years, and every new model generates great excitement. This year's debut promises to be particularly interesting, especially since many features that did not make it into the iPhone 15 have a chance to be included in the new model.

The release of iPhone 16 is scheduled for 9 September 2024, which fits perfectly into Apple's annual release calendar. For decades, the company has been a leader in innovation, and each new smartphone model often brings changes that redefine the mobile market.

Rumours suggest that Apple will introduce improvements in hardware and design this time. There is talk of larger screens, thinner bezels, and new function buttons. Fans of the series are also looking forward to the possible debut of features such as the Capture button, which could further enhance the camera experience. All of this makes the iPhone 16 one of the most anticipated devices of the year.

iPhone 16 vs previous models - what will change?

Every new iPhone model brings significant changes, but the iPhone 16 is expected to stand out, particularly compared to its predecessors. The most significant change will likely be the screen size. According to leaks, the Pro Max (or Ultra) version may have a screen size of up to 17.5 centimetres, making it the largest iPhone in history. The Pro model is also expected to grow – to 16 centimetres. Users can also expect even thinner bezels, thanks to BRS technology, which will provide a modern and elegant look.

In terms of hardware, the iPhone 16 will be equipped with the new A18 Pro processor, which, according to preliminary benchmark results, will be up to 14% faster than the previous A17 Pro. This means users can expect significantly better performance in daily tasks, games, and AI-based applications, which are set to play an increasingly important role in iOS 18.

As for cameras, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are expected to offer a new periscope telephoto lens, allowing for even more advanced zooming capabilities. Improvements in camera software are also anticipated to enhance photo quality in low-light conditions. Meanwhile, the basic iPhone 16 models are expected to feature more advanced function buttons to replace the traditional mute switch.

Changes in design and hardware are just some of the new features. Apple also plans to implement Wi-Fi 7 technology and improve charging capabilities. This technology will allow fast charging at up to 40 watts, significantly improving charging times compared to the iPhone 15.
