Pixel 9 will likely debut in the market only in October, yet it seems Google isn't putting much effort into keeping its new smartphones a secret. As a result, we can already catch a glimpse of the first images now. What will Google's latest smartphone look like?

Google is vigorously working on the next instalment, the initial photos of which, currently the highest quality, have recently surfaced online. The Rozetked service unveiled a new series of visualisations, showcasing three models. According to leaks, they are expected to be introduced as Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL.

The Google flagships will boast screens of varying sizes:

  • Pixel 9 – roughly 16 cm
  • Pixel 9 Pro – about 16 cm
  • Pixel 9 Pro XL - approximately 17 cm.

Despite the variance in screen sizes, the bodies of the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro are anticipated to be similar, if not identical. This is achievable through marginally slimmer bezels on the pricier model. All three smartphones are set to come equipped with an AMOLED screen, boasting a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

A significant redesign is the new layout of the camera module, which no longer spans the entire phone width, unlike with the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro. The latest smartphones feature a flat rear panel and screen, moving away from the previous generation's rounded edges to now having completely flat sides.

According to earlier speculation, a foldable smartphone, expected to be named Pixel 9 Pro Fold, will also join the lineup. The full unveiling of the new models is likely to occur in October. However, it's possible the first snippets of information could emerge as soon as May 14 during the Google I/O 2024 conference, set to be in line with Greenwich Time.
