Finnish military reports multiple Russian aircraft breached airspace

The Finnish border guard reported on Friday that it suspects four Russian military aircraft violated the country’s airspace on 10 June.

On Monday, the Finnish Ministry of Defence reported that it suspected a Russian military aircraft had violated Finnish airspace for about 2 minutes that day.

"As the investigation progressed, it became clear that in addition to the previously reported Russian aircraft, there are also reasons to suspect airspace violations by three other aircraft," the border guard stated on Friday.

The statement mentioned two bombers and two fighters.

According to the Ministry of Defence, a Russian aircraft last violated Finnish airspace in August 2022.
