"F1" drama speeds to the big screen with Brad Pitt and Damson Idris
Formula 1 has been experiencing a renaissance in recent years. Much of this resurgence is thanks to productions like "Formula 1: Drive to Survive." A full-length film will soon join the Netflix series, and Brad Pitt will star, among others.
Apple Studio's production, "F1," tells the story of Apex Grand Prix, a fictional eleventh team in the competition. Brad Pitt and Damson Idris will play the main roles, and Javier Bardem and Kerry Condon will also appear on screen.
Lewis Hamilton is the film's co-producer. Joseph Kosinski, who also directed the new "Top Gun", is in charge of the direction.
The first trailer of the production has just appeared online, and it is set to hit cinemas in June 2025. Even now, it is clear that there will be no shortage of dynamic, raw shots and excellent visuals capturing the F1 atmosphere. Anyway, see the video above for yourself.
