Elton John reveals eye infection has left him with partial vision loss

Elton John over the years has established himself as a true music icon. The musician spent half his life on stage, and this journey ended during the final concert of the Farewell Yellow Brick tour.

After such a demanding time, the 76-year-old opted for rest, which unfortunately was not the most enjoyable. In his latest post on Instagram, Elton John revealed that he dealt with health problems throughout the summer.

Elton John published a worrisome post on Instagram, informing that he struggled with health problems all summer. He developed an infection in his eye, causing significantly impaired vision.

Over the summer, I dealt with a serious eye infection that unfortunately has left me with limited vision in one eye. I am undergoing treatment, but it is an extremely slow process, and it will take some time before I return to my normal self - wrote Elton John on Instagram.

He thanked every person who supported him during this difficult time.

I am very grateful to the wonderful team of doctors and nurses, as well as my family, who have taken such good care of me over the past few weeks. I peacefully spent the summer recuperating at home and am pleased with the progress I have made in my treatment so far - he added.
