Drunken monkey's rampage: Chaos in Komsomolsk-on-Amur

This story will undoubtedly become a local legend. A green monkey named Garik, who lived with his owner, became the "hero" of an unusual adventure. During a house party, he decided to taste freedom. However, no one foresaw what would happen next.

Some stories are just hard to believe. This one took place in Komsomolsk-on-Amur in Russia and definitely falls into that category. The events, which could be the plot for a movie, were described on the X profile "Belsat."

It all started when the owners of the green monkey named Garik organized a party for friends. Wanting to showcase their exotic pet, they opened the cage where the monkey usually stayed. That's when everything began.

Garik did not hesitate for long. He jumped onto the table, grabbed a bottle of whisky, and began drinking its contents. After a few sips, the monkey, dazed by the alcohol, took the opportunity and escaped through an open window.

The green monkey immediately lost control. Its first target was flower pots on nearby windowsills, which he wrecked in no time. Later, things only got worse because... the drunken monkey bit passersby.

Five people fell victim to the animal, including a pregnant woman and a local newspaper reporter, who were transported to the hospital.

After several hours of chaos, the drunken monkey was finally captured. However, his owners decided that Garik would not return to his old home.

The monkey's owner admitted that Garik "became jealous" and hard to control since she married, and she prefers her husband. Giving him away was difficult, but it was considered the best solution.

What happened to Garik? We don't know. We can only hope he finds a new place to live without conflicts.
