We use various devices in our daily lives without fully realising their potential. Often, we overlook features that could significantly simplify our lives because they aren’t immediately apparent. One such example is the oven.

How can an oven be effectively cleaned? Here is a quick, simple, and efficient solution. Thanks to a little-known function, specifically a hidden button in the doors of most ovens, cleaning can be a breeze.

Discover a trick for easy oven cleaning

When cleaning the oven, you want to ensure it's done thoroughly. Simply wiping the walls and removing food residues from the baking tray isn't enough. It's good practice to perform basic cleaning after each oven use. However, once a week, it’s worth cleaning more thoroughly. If you use our method, you won't spend all day on it; moreover, you will avoid tedious scrubbing. The oven will sparkle, even in hard-to-reach places.

How to clean the oven even where it's hard to reach with a cloth?

First, fully open the oven door and locate the covers on the hinges at the bottom. Press the button to unlock them. This way, you can easily detach the door from the rest of the oven. The construction may vary depending on the model and manufacturer, but the principle is always the same.

Next, remove the trays, racks, and metal elements from the walls. Lift the plastic protection from the glass in the oven door. Now, carefully remove the glass and place it in a safe spot.

The next step is to prepare an efficient and reliable detergent to dissolve all the grime. Mix baking soda with water in a bowl. Baking soda effectively dissolves grease and food residues.

Apply the paste to the dirty surfaces using an old toothbrush. Then, spray everything with vinegar. An active foam will form, removing all the dirt. Wipe away the foam with a paper towel, then thoroughly clean the surface with a dry cloth. Use the same procedure for both glass panes of the oven and the remaining elements—quickly, efficiently, and, most importantly, effectively!
