Using ready-made puff pastry means the dessert preparation takes no time at all. They are perfect for when guests drop by unexpectedly and you don't have time for lengthy preparations. The dessert looks so appetising that you can't resist it. It works wonderfully both daily and for special occasions.
Sweet and sour blackberries break the sweet taste of the double cream and mascarpone cream. You can also choose blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, or even opt for homemade fruit jelly or currant jam.
Ingredients:
- 2 puff pastries,
- icing sugar for sprinkling.
Cream:
- 200 ml double cream (30%),
- 250 g mascarpone,
- 4 tablespoons icing sugar.
Other ingredients:
- blackberries,
- raspberries,
- fresh mint leaves.
Preparation:
Step 1. Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a countertop. Fold it in half and then divide it into triangles.
Step 2. Place the triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Put them in an oven preheated to 220°C for about 15 minutes.
Step 3. Pour chilled double cream into a bowl and whip it, gradually adding icing sugar and mascarpone cheese.
Step 4. Gently cut or tear the baked and cooled pastry, creating a pocket. Fill the pastry cones with the prepared cream using a piping bag. Place fruits on top and cover with the other half of the pastry.
Step 5. Dust everything with icing sugar and decorate with mint leaves. Enjoy!
