The son of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, 16-year-old Adam, has been entered into the Russian Book of Records. He has become the youngest head of a security service, adding yet another accolade for the teenage son of the Chechen politician.

The award was presented to Adam Kadyrov on 4 October in Grozny during an MMA tournament. The event was broadcast on the Match TV channel.

During the tournament, a ceremonial presentation was held to award the certificate from the Russian Book of Records to Adam Kadyrov for his record – becoming the youngest head of a security service within a constituent entity of the Russian Federation. Stanislav Konenko also presented him with a medal for promoting the Russian Book of Records, according to Ramzan Kadyrov's Telegram channel.

The head of the Chechen government, Magomed Daudov, personally extended his congratulations to the 16-year-old, calling him a true patriot. The young man reportedly stated: "We do not intend to stop, Akhmat is power," as reported by the "Moscow Times".

As noted by the "Moscow Times" portal, Adam Kadyrov assumed the head of his father's security department at the end of last year. In April, Kadyrov Junior became the Vladimir Putin Russian University of Special Forces curator.

Kadyrov's son has already received the title of Hero of the Chechen Republic and was appointed head of the security department of the Head of Chechnya. He has also been awarded the highest honour of the Republic of Tatarstan—the Order "Duslyk."

He has also been honoured by Muslim leaders and was involved in an incident where he beat a man for burning the Quran. His father, Ramzan, allegedly encouraged the 16-year-old's actions. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declined to comment on the recording.

Ramzan Kadyrov is known for his close cooperation with the Kremlin. He supports the war in Ukraine, with his troops fighting on the front lines. However, at the end of last year, he criticised Putin, claiming that if he were in command, the Ukrainian capital would have long been captured.
