Garlic is a remedy known for years

Garlic, long recognised as a powerful natural antibiotic, is an indispensable element of traditional medicine. The richness of vitamins and minerals is just the beginning of its benefits. The diallyl sulfides contained in it can destroy cancer cells in the colon. Additionally, thanks to the presence of arginine, garlic acts as an antioxidant, eliminating free radicals and reducing the risk of cancer. The most significant benefits will come from eating it raw after crushing or chopping it. It is also a good idea to add it to various dishes.

Green tea is a brew we should often reach for

Green tea is characterised not only by its unique taste but also by its extraordinary health properties. This is due to the catechins it contains, which have excellent anti-cancer properties. Studies have shown that regular consumption of green tea reduces the risk of stomach, prostate, breast, and bladder cancer.

Green tea also has several other health-promoting properties. It can, for instance, support liver metabolism and lower blood sugar levels. It also significantly reduces the risk of developing dementia.

Grapes and other fruits are excellent antioxidants

Fruits such as dark grapes, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, mulberries, and cranberries are real treasure troves of resveratrol. This flavonoid helps in cancer prevention and protects the cardiovascular system against atherosclerosis, coronary artery disease, and heart attacks. Studies clearly indicate that resveratrol limits cancer cell development and increases chemotherapy treatments' effectiveness. Interestingly, we can also buy resveratrol in pharmacies as tablets.

Tomatoes contain one very valuable compound

Lycopene, present in tomatoes, significantly reduces the risk of serious cancers such as prostate, pancreatic, and breast cancer. This potent antioxidant works best in heat-processed vegetables. Therefore, it is worth regularly consuming homemade tomato pastes, concentrates, and tomato juice. However, even a slice of tomato on a sandwich is a very good idea.

These vegetables are a real vitamin bomb

Vegetables with anti-cancer properties also include cabbage, broccoli, turnip, radish, and cauliflower. The glucosinolates contained in them effectively protect against cancers of the liver, breast, colon, and cervix. Additionally, these vegetables provide valuable nutrients such as vitamin C, calcium, selenium, magnesium, folic acid, and potassium. So they are a real health-promoting vitamin bomb.
