Bzigo Iris is an Israeli device that will help you get rid of mosquitoes. This solution will provide peace of mind from these undoubtedly annoying insects, which are particularly troublesome in the summer.

Every summer, people in the UK complain not only about the heat but also about mosquitoes. The warming climate makes these insects, which have been merely irritating so far, a potential additional threat due to the emergence of new species such as the tiger mosquito.

However, we do not have to rely solely on traditional means, such as mosquito nets or less effective repellents. Technology comes to the rescue. The Bzigo Iris device is a good way to get rid of mosquitoes.

The equipment developed by the Israeli company does not eliminate mosquitoes by itself. However, it has another advantage. It can locate mosquitoes.

Bzigo Iris - mosquito laser pointer

Bzigo Iris can detect and track mosquitoes in flight. When the insects land, the device marks their position with a laser pointer. Importantly, this solution works even when the mosquito takes off again and lands in another place.

Regardless of the number of repetitions of this manoeuvre, the mosquito will always be indicated by a laser marker safe for human eyes. Thanks to this, it can be easily eliminated using the electric swatter included in the set. If there are more mosquitoes in the room, the pointer will move between them, showing each one in turn.

A significant advantage of Bzigo Iris is its efficiency regardless of the time of day and lighting conditions – the device handles mosquito detection during the day, at night, and under artificial lighting. Thanks to this, it can work well at home in any conditions.

The heart of Bzigo Iris's operation is a high-resolution camera and LEDs emitting infrared light invisible to the human eye. Thanks to special image processing algorithms, the device can distinguish mosquitoes from other insects, such as moths, and from floating dust particles.

Will Bzigo Iris be adopted in homes as a way to deal with mosquitoes? It is difficult to predict at this moment. For technology enthusiasts, such a device could, however, be not only a practical tool but also a fun gadget.
