British teenager gang raped in Mallorca; Eight men charged
Eight men have been charged with the gang rape of a British teenage girl. This disgraceful act allegedly occurred on the Spanish island of Mallorca. The suspects recorded everything on their phones. The recordings are at least 30 minutes long.
The suspects in the gang rape case include one Swiss individual and seven French citizens. Recently, they have been charged. The rape allegedly took place in the town of Magaluf on Mallorca, in one of the local hotels.
The Diario de Mallorca portal reports that five individuals have been charged with rape and three with sexual assault. They have also been charged with several other offences, including abuse and privacy violations related to the publication of videos from their phones.
The newspaper, citing court documents, claims that the group stripped the 18-year-old naked, spat on her, insulted her, and beat her. They also recorded a 30-minute video using their mobile phones and posted it on social media.
Men encouraged joint rape
Three of the suspects met the British teenager during a party at a club.
Investigators reportedly found evidence of rape on the suspects' phones. They recorded several videos, each lasting several seconds.
"The eight men are all being held on remand in prison in Majorca or on the Spanish mainland - and expected to remain behind bars until trial", reports "The Sun." The men are aged between 18 and 26 years. Spanish police established that they did not previously know each other, but some were encouraged to rape by other participants. One of the men even went out into the hotel corridor and encouraged "to have "free s*x" with the semi-conscious woman".
According to "The Sun," the first perpetrator was detained because he stole the teenager's phone. Two more were captured by police in France.
