The latest survey results indicate that 43 percent of respondents would vote for Joe Biden, compared to 38 percent for Donald Trump.
This represents a significant boost for Biden, who, in early December, was trailing Trump by three percentage points. At that time, the current president had the backing of 35 percent of voters, with Trump slightly ahead at 38 percent.
The survey also reveals that Donald Trump's support has remained static since last December, while Joe Biden has increased his support, mainly at the expense of Robert Kennedy, who is considering a run as an independent candidate. Kennedy's support has dwindled from 17 percent to 12 percent.
