In the city, booths sprout up like mushrooms after the rain, where we can taste sweet fruit mixtures from popular manufacturers. It wasn't so long ago that also the time you could hear the characteristic and legendary melody of the ice cream truck in the streets. But those days are gone...
Considering the above, it should come as no surprise that our craving for ice cream doesn't really fade throughout the entire spring and summer season. And do you always have to go out to the city and spend there £2 per scoop? Not necessarily! Today, we want to present you with a delicious dessert made of frozen mascarpone. These homemade creamy ice creams are one of our favorite tricks to feel like on vacation in Italy... without buying tickets.
Summer dessert with mascarpone
Ingredients:
- 250g mascarpone cheese,
- 150g cream,
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup,
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence,
- 1 cup of fruits: strawberries and blueberries.
How to prepare:
- Put the mascarpone cheese in the blender bowl. Add the cream, maple syrup (of course, you can also use regular sugar or sweetener), and vanilla essence. Mix everything until smooth.
- Wash the fruits, remove the strawberry stems. If you want, take advantage of other favorite summer delights. The possibilities are limited only by your creativity. Maybe blackberries? Raspberries? Pineapple? Let us know what you think!
- Cut the fruits into smaller pieces and mix them into the mass. Then transfer the obtained mixture into containers and put it in the freezer. After about 4-5 hours in the freezer, a delicious mascarpone dessert will be waiting for you. Enjoy!
