Banana bites: The hit dessert every party needs to have
There is no family party without banana bites. Kids adore these sweet treats, and adults are mad about them, too, so it's worth making a generous portion. The recipe is simple and quick, and it tastes so delightful that the banana bites will vanish from the table faster than any cake.

My aunt makes them for every party; no matter how many she brings, she always returns with just the toothpicks. Banana bites are perfect for a quick, no-bake dessert that all generations will love. They're sweet, banana-flavoured, chocolatey, and simply delicious.
Banana bites - a sweet party snack
The preparation is so simple that even a child can handle it. You just need a few basic ingredients and regular toothpicks to surprise your loved ones with an unusual snack. It’s best to choose bananas that don't have spots yet and aren't too soft, so they don't fall apart when skewered.
The best proof of how popular this dessert is in my home is that the recipe card is already hard to read due to chocolate stains. Banana bites are perfect for both small and larger occasions because their taste wins hearts immediately.
Ingredients:
- 200 grams of dark chocolate,
- 85 grams of butter,
- round ladyfingers,
- bananas,
- coconut flakes.
Preparation:
- Add the butter and broken chocolate pieces to a saucepan.
- Melt the mixture until it forms a smooth consistency.
- Peel the bananas and cut them into pieces about 2.5 centimetres thick. They should be thick enough to taste but still fit on a toothpick with the ladyfingers.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminium foil or parchment paper.
- Skewer a ladyfinger flat side down on a toothpick. Next, add a banana piece on top and cover with another ladyfinger.
- Dip in the chocolate, spooning it to cover the whole banana bite.
- Sprinkle with coconut flakes and set aside to let the chocolate harden.
The banana bites are now ready to eat. I must warn you, though, one won't be enough. Enjoy!
