Like its predecessors, the new 16 series will be released in four different models. However, this time, the base models and the Pro versions will differ in specifications, design, and size.

The iPhone 16 will be available in four different size versions:

  • iPhone 16 (15.5 cm),
  • iPhone 16 Plus (17 cm),
  • iPhone 16 Pro (16 cm),
  • iPhone 16 Pro Max (17.5 cm).

A photo published by blogger Sonny Dickson shows prototypes of the upcoming phones. These models likely help accessory manufacturers tailor their products even before the devices officially launch.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max model, with a screen that's nearly 7 inches, is poised to be the biggest smartphone in Apple's history. The size difference between it and the already sizable iPhone 16 Plus model is significantly noticeable.

According to the latest leaks, the iPhone 16 Pro models will maintain many similarities with their predecessors, but the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models will definitely sport a refreshed design. It seems that Apple will move away from the characteristic square camera bump featured on the brand's flagship models since the 11 series in 2019.

Regarding construction innovations, the iPhone 16 series will include an additional button for camera operations. According to circulating rumours, users can adjust the zoom, set the focus, and activate the shutter simply by pressing this button.

The new iPhone 16 series is expected to be officially unveiled in September. The most significant new features are anticipated to be related to advanced artificial intelligence usage.
