Anti-terrorist operation escalates in Ingushetia with ongoing confrontation
The "anti-terrorist operation" (CTO) regime was enacted around 5:30 PM Greenwich Mean Time on Saturday in a section of the town of Karabulak. The regional operational command disclosed that the anti-terrorist operation is being carried out within the confines of four streets.

Concurrently, videos showcasing intense exchanges of gunfire and explosions began to emerge online. The terrorists, initiating gunfire in Ingushetia, attempted to flee the encircled building through various means, including the use of bedsheets tied together to create makeshift escape ropes.
As Brief reports, several blasts were observed at the location. "As many as six militants might have been holed up in the apartment, some of whom are listed on the international most-wanted list. It is also under investigation whether they have connections to participants of last year's assaults on a road police checkpoint in Kantyshev and on police officers in Ziazikov-Yurt" - states a message on Telegram.
The apartment's balcony caught fire
Security operatives have been engaging with an apartment situated on the third floor of one of the buildings on this street - a source told the TASS agency.
The balcony of the apartment was set ablaze amidst the gunfire.
At 6 AM Greenwich Mean Time on Sunday, RIA Novosti reported that "active measures to neutralize the militants are ongoing." There have been no reports of injuries or casualties. However, some media outlets claim that the operation has concluded.
