Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt: Divorce final, new futures ahead
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's marriage has officially ended. The couple has signed the final divorce documents, offering an opportunity for both to begin anew. However, he allegedly already has plans with his current partner.
A few years ago, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were regarded as one of the more harmonious Hollywood couples. Recently, however, discussions about the celebrity duo have mainly centred on the legal battles following their split. In 2016, two years after their wedding and nearly a decade into their relationship, the actress filed a divorce petition in Los Angeles. The breakup was said to be due to irreconcilable differences.
Since then, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been attending court, dividing assets and disputing the children. Recently, international sources reported that after eight years of intense court battles, the actors agreed on the divorce. According to the 49-year-old's solicitor, she felt relieved.
Brad Pitt is planning another wedding
Signing the divorce documents provided relief not only to Angelina but also to her now ex-husband. For Brad, it is also an opportunity to move forward. According to a source from a foreign service, the actor has serious plans for his current partner, Ines de Ramon.
They are looking to get married in the next year and Brad has settled because he wants to keep his children on side for his new marriage to go ahead. Apparently Ines is keen to have children too and pressured him to get it all sorted out as soon as possible - a source close to the couple revealed, as quoted by MailOnline.
Brad Pitt blames Angelina Jolie for the protracted divorce
Another source from the portal confessed that, in Brad Pitt's opinion, Angelina's actions caused the lengthy divorce process. Nonetheless, for the actor, it's a relief to move forward.
Brad will feel relieved that he can finally move on and remarry. He wanted his divorce to be settled long ago, but he believes that Angelina was delaying it. Angelina will argue she has been fighting for the best deal for their family, but whatever the truth, it ultimately clears the path for him walking down the aisle with Ines.
He will hope that he can build bridges with his children now that the divorce is finalised, but that looks like a long hard road - the informant added.
