Zayn Malik is a famous singer, songwriter, and former member of the band One Direction. He was born on 12 January 1993 in Bradford, England. He gained fame in 2010 when he participated in the show "The X Factor" and was grouped with four other participants into the aforementioned band.

In 2015, Zayn left the boy band to start a solo career. His debut album "Mind of Mine" featured the single "Pillowtalk", which achieved international success. The music created by the singer is significantly different from the style of One Direction.

Zayn Malik struggles with anxiety disorders

Zayn Malik left One Direction because he didn't feel comfortable with the constantly growing fame that was overwhelming him. In interviews, he repeatedly emphasised that he struggled with anxiety disorders. He needed a break from live performances when he withdrew from the project. After a year's break, he wanted to return to the stage. Unfortunately, the illness overcame him. The singer cancelled a concert in the United Kingdom just before it started. On the X platform, he wrote at the time:

"I flew into the UK last night to appear in my home country in front of my family, friends and most importantly, my UK fans. Unfortunately, my anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me…with the magnitude of the event, I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career.I cannot apologize enough, but I want to be honest with everyone who has patiently waited to see me. I promise I will do my best to make this up to everybody I’ve let down today. I know those who suffer from anxiety will understand, and I hope those who don’t can empathize with my situation."

The singer announces a concert tour

Eight years have passed since those events. During this time, Zayn has released as many as four studio albums. He has also managed to find peace and harmony in his life. Some time ago, he even organised an intimate concert and meet-up with his fans. Now he has decided on another bold step.

The singer appeared on the international show "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". To be precise, "appeared" is an overstatement, as he only silently greeted the audience and handed the host a card with a secret message. It turned out to be an announcement of a concert tour that will take place this autumn. Zayn will perform in the United States and the United Kingdom.
