On 7th October, alarm sirens were heard early in the morning in Kyiv. The Russians launched hypersonic Kinzhal missiles towards the capital of Ukraine. All were shot down by air defence.

Upon hearing the alarm, Ukrainians rushed to escape, seeking shelter in various locations, including metro stations.

A woman recorded the dramatic escape of residents, laughed at the Ukrainians, and spoke favourably about Russia's actions. She posted the clip online.

She was arrested for praising Russia

The shocking video quickly spread online, and the police also came across it.

During the monitoring of social media platforms, the police found a video recording in which a woman arrogantly spoke about citizens going to the shelter during an air raid alarm and praised the Russian aggressor — reported the Kyiv authorities.

Officers reacted swiftly. In cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), they tracked and detained the woman in a dining establishment near the train station.

It was reported that the woman was born in 2001. She comes from the Donetsk region and had recently lived in Kyiv.
