Famous actors' involvement in English football clubs is not new. Consequently, according to British media reports about his investments, Will Ferrell has decided to join this trend.

It's worth noting that Ferrell's first foray into football investment was with the Los Angeles FC, a team that competes in Major League Soccer and boasts a valuation well over £75 million.

"The Sun" and the "Mirror" have reported that Ferrell has purchased a share package in the 49ers Enterprises group. This group also counts former swimmer Michael Phelps and actor Russell Crowe among its shareholders.

"The Sun" has confirmed from a source that Ferrell is a shareholder of Leeds United.

The Leeds United chief has expressed his pleasure over Ferrell's investment. However, he doesn't believe it will directly enhance the team’s on-field performance, which is crucial for their shot at Premier League promotion.

Ferrell, known for his roles in "Zoolander," "Blades of Glory," and "Barbie," has used his acting success as a springboard for such investments.
