When homework baffles adults. A father's puzzle goes viral
More than one parent has found themselves perplexed while helping their child with homework. The complexities of mathematics or biological challenges from the latter years of primary school resembled the final question in a quiz show. Nonetheless, it seems that questions from the early learning stage can also trip up adults. This was the experience of a father who shared a mathematical puzzle on social media.

Logical puzzles in mathematics have stumped many, yet some adults struggle to admit when tasks from the early learning stage baffle them.
The father of a young child, who posted a photo of the mathematical puzzle his child had for homework on the internet, doesn't have this issue.
A question that appeared straightforward, related to the daily cycle, proved too challenging for many of his profile's followers, who failed to provide the correct answer.
What was the riddle? The father asked which of the listed times is closest to midnight. Despite the times being only a few minutes apart and referring to time before or after 12 a.m., not everyone could answer correctly.
The times listed were: 11:55 a.m., 12:06 a.m., 11:50 a.m., and 12:03 a.m. The significance of the abbreviations provided with the times, indicating the part of the day, should not be underestimated here.
And although the answer wasn’t obvious to everyone, the closest to the correct answer is the fourth one, which is: 12:03 a.m. How did you respond to this question?
