The newest entertainment park at Universal Orlando Resort is set to open on 22 May 2025 in Florida.
An amazing attraction
"This is such a pivotal moment for our destination, and we're thrilled to welcome guests to Epic Universe next year," stated Karen Irwin, President of Universal Orlando Resort, as quoted by Fox News Digital. With this spectacular new park, our guests can experience unforgettable holidays filled with thrills that will simply be epic! Our universe will never be the same."
Epic Universe will feature five themed worlds for visitors: Celestial Park, the wizarding world of Harry Potter, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, and a zone based on the books and film "How to Train Your Dragon".
Tourists will be delighted
The park will also feature three hotels, over 50 other attractions, and a dining area.
Tickets for Epic Universe will be released in stages starting 22 October 2024. This is to manage the anticipated high demand and ensure guests have a unique experience. The first sales phase will include only tickets related to holiday packages or multi-day tickets. Also, holders of annual passes to Universal Orlando can purchase a one-day ticket starting in October. For now, exact prices are not given. However, tickets are expected to be around £110, which is the cost of an adult entry to other parks in the network.
Epic Universe will be Universal Orlando's third full-fledged theme park, joining Universal Studios Florida (opened in 1990) and Universal’s Islands of Adventure (opened in 1999). Additionally, Universal Orlando has the Volcano Bay water park, which began operating in 2017.
