Last year, the Russian military purchased 2,100 Desertcross 1000-3 carts. Although these vehicles can navigate challenging terrain, they lack any form of armor. Thus, when Putin's army uses them to transport infantry on the front line, they become easy targets for Ukrainian kamikaze drones and artillery, turning them into "coffins on wheels" for the troops inside, as many recordings from the battlefield have shown.
In one recording made west of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region, Russian soldiers in two carts are seen coming under fire from Ukrainian cluster artillery. The scene of destruction is completed by kamikaze drones, which target the Russians attempting to flee.
Another scene shows an abandoned golf cart in Berdyansk, not far from Avdiivka in the Donetsk region.
Here, Russians are seen fleeing from a golf cart just in time. However, not everyone was so fortunate.
Russian soldiers in this video might not have survived after a kamikaze drone struck right between them as they were travelling in the Chinese cart.
