Ukrainian soldiers have released footage of an attack on a bridge in the village of Karyzh in the Kursk region. It is unknown what impact this will have on the battles between Ukrainian and Russian forces in the area.

Soldiers from the 116th Brigade "Khorne Group" have shared video footage of another air attack on a bridge in the village of Karyzh in the Kursk region.

"The damage was quite significant. In time, we will see how critical the consequences are," stated the DeepState portal. There is no certainty as to whether the bridge was effectively damaged, as it was added that the bridge is quite "resilient", and after a previous strike, Russians were still able to use it.

Syrskyi: The offensive is yielding results

On Thursday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, said that Kyiv's offensive in the Kursk region of Russia is yielding results.

According to Syrskyi, Russia planned to launch a new offensive against Ukraine from the Kursk region before Ukrainian forces began their operations in this area.

"This reduced the threat of an enemy offensive. We prevented them from acting. We moved the fighting to the enemy’s territory so that he could feel what we feel every day. And we created our own security zone in the Kursk region," he said in an interview with CNN.

He noted that the offensive in the Kursk region "significantly improved the morale of not only the military but the entire Ukrainian population." He added that the Ukrainian army has recorded a decrease in shelling and intensity of fighting in eastern Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that Russian forces are already beginning to push Ukrainian soldiers out of the area.
