Ukrainian drones targeted a large Russian steel factory in the Lipetsk region during an overnight attack from Tuesday to Wednesday, as reported by the Reuters agency, with information from Ukrainian intelligence sources. The efficiency of the facility may be significantly reduced.

According to the source, the attack partially destroyed an "oxygen station" at the Novolipetsk Steel Plant, likely impacting the company's operations.

The NLMK company, which owns the plant, denies cooperation with the Russian defence industry, asserting that their production is intended for civilians.

Earlier on Wednesday, Igor Artamonov, the governor of the Lipetsk region, reported via Telegram that a drone had struck the area of a local industrial zone within the region without specifying any damages incurred.
