Serhii Kupin sustained injuries during a skirmish on the Svietnovsky frontline. The closeness of the enemy made his evacuation impossible.

The enemy was too close for comfort: approximately 100 metres to one side and 200 metres to the other. This prevented a safe evacuation.

Noticing his crawling, we suggested he follow the drone to a location where the infantry could convene with him - explains an air reconnaissance soldier known as "Luh", as quoted by the "Ukrainian Truth" portal.

Friend, take a sip and follow the drone. Read a note attached to a mug of hot tea that was dropped beside the injured border guard by the 68th Separate Brigade of Oleksy Dowbusz's air reconnaissance.

It was an immense struggle for the wounded border guard to move by himself, but he managed to crawl approximately 700 metres to the Ukrainian positions. His comrades then evacuated him from the battlefield.

I only wanted a quick evacuation because I was afraid, starved and freezing. I was completely numb - the soldier recalls.

Serhii is now recuperating in a hospital, showing steady improvement, and expressing gratitude to the air scouts for their expertise and kindness.

Ukrainian drone attack takes another Russian ship in Crimea

The offensive efforts of Ukrainian drones are systematically undermining the Black Sea Fleet's capabilities. The most recent assault occurred near the Russian base at Lake Donuzlav in the occupied Crimea. According to Defense Express, a swarm of sea drones originating from Ukraine attacked the Ivanovets missile boat of Project 12411. Multiple kamikaze drone hits led to the vessel's sinking.
