Ukraine's intelligence chief reveals Russia's missile stockpile growth
The head of Ukraine's military intelligence (HUR) has discussed the current front-line situation, highlighting Russia's accumulation of missiles. This buildup, he notes, was facilitated by a prolonged period during which Ukraine's energy sector was not targeted.
The head of Ukrainian intelligence spoke up. "The enemy now has strength."

According to Interfax Ukraine, General Kyrylo Budanov stated on television, "We are constantly tracking their missile production and stockpiling processes. We are certain about the number of missiles they possess. Their decision to refrain from attacking our energy sector for more than a year has allowed them to amass a considerable arsenal."
"Regrettably, the enemy now possesses enough resources to persevere in their efforts," the general further remarked.
He acknowledged that Russia's monthly production of operational-tactical missiles does not reach 100, but stressed that the quantity is nonetheless substantial.
General Budanov also mentioned that Kalibr missiles have been steadily accumulated and are now fully operational. Russian forces, he observed, are currently favouring the use of the more efficient Kh-101 cruise missiles instead of Kalibr missiles.
"They aimed to replenish and expand their missile reserves after noticing a significant depletion. They have achieved this goal, ensuring they are prepared for deployment. As the fleet was stocking up on its missiles, Russian air forces were deploying Kh-101 missiles," explained the military officer.
