A rally for Donald Trump will occur on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania. During the event, billionaire Elon Musk will appear on stage. The location is symbolic because it was in this city on the 13th of July that an assailant shot at the former president.

This information was relayed on Friday by the campaign staff of the Republican candidate for the presidency of the USA. Donald Trump is to return to the place where an assailant attempted to take his life just three months ago. They stated that the rally was meant to be a symbolic event.

Among the special guests expected to accompany the former president of the USA are Elon Musk and members of Corey Comperatore's family. This Trump supporter was killed in the attack.

On one stage

Musk confirmed his presence at the rally overnight from Thursday to Friday, posting an entry on the X portal. For the head of Tesla, this will be his first joint public appearance with Trump.

The billionaire, who has long shown his support for Republicans, openly declared his support for the former president after the attack in Butler. Interestingly, despite close ties with Trump, Musk had previously, during the Republican primaries, endorsed his rival - Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis.

Elon Musk finances Trump's campaign

Lately, Tesla's head has increased his financial involvement in Trump's campaign, declaring contributions of £37 million per month. The billionaire's support is all the more surprising because Trump has repeatedly criticised electric cars and the regulations supporting their development—a key area of Musk's business.

In addition to financial support, Musk devotes considerable attention to the elections in his numerous posts on platform X. Recently, he wrote that a victory for Kamala Harris "would mean the end of democracy." In another comment, he suggested that Democrats are deliberately bringing in immigrants to gain their votes through an accelerated citizenship process.

Donald Trump announced that if he wins the election, he will assign Musk to head a special "government efficiency commission" to develop a plan for budget cuts.
