In an interview with CNN, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky suggested that the next steps for the Ukrainian army on the battlefield will hinge on military aid from the United States.

Zelensky communicated that the General of Ukraine's Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, is structuring two potential strategies for the ongoing conflict.

As stated on CNN's platforms, "Should Kyiv receive US aid, it will be in a position to thwart Russia's assaults. In the absence of this, they will need to dedicate their efforts towards defense alone."

Volodymyr Zelensky further conceded that, without support from the US, it wouldn't just be difficulties in attaining further victories that pose a problem for the Ukrainian military. He indicated that it may also be challenging to safeguard against attacks from invaders this year without America's aid.

- "The personnel will be ready, but the artillery and brigades won't be... they'll be ill-prepared for both our counter-offensive and for defense, for the preservation of power. It's going to be incredibly challenging," warned Zelensky.
