President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine will develop a plan to end the war this year. Kyiv will briefly present details of the formula's initial points.

As Volodymyr Zelensky stated at a joint conference with Slovenia's head of state, Nataša Pirc Musar, after the peace summit in Switzerland, Kyiv is developing a comprehensive plan for the Ukrainian peace formula, which will be presented to partners.

Currently, Ukraine is working on three detailed plans regarding energy, food security, and prisoner exchange.

It is very important for us to show a plan to end the war that will be supported by the majority of the world. This is the diplomatic route we are working on, said Zelensky. He added that the plan should be developed before the end of this year.

Zelensky highlighted that Ukraine is increasing the production of technology, drones, artillery, and electronic weapons to enhance its strength on the battlefield.

Ukraine wants another peace summit

In mid-June, a peace summit on the Russian invasion of Ukraine took place in Switzerland. More than 100 delegations from various countries and organisations attended.

As the head of the president's office, Andriy Yermak, stated, Kyiv wants a second peace summit to be held before the end of the year - this time in Saudi Arabia.
