"This is the largest attack since Iranian drones began targeting Ukrainian towns and villages. In total, nearly 1,150 assault drones, over 1,400 guided bombs, and 35 missiles of various types were used throughout the week," wrote Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram.

The President of Ukraine expressed gratitude to everyone involved in repelling the attack, including the air force, air defence missile troops, electronic warfare units, and the mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defence Forces. He also thanked the employees of the State Emergency Service, medical personnel, and the police.

Zelensky emphasised that the war continues and called for the strengthening of air defence.

"The war continues. Everyone who can help in air defence should work to enhance the protection of human life. We must do everything to bring closer a long-lasting and just peace for Ukraine. This is only possible through the unity of all partners – the strength of all of Europe, the strength of America, the strength of all who desire lasting peace is needed," Zelensky emphasised.
