Ukraine downs Russian jet amid warnings of Easter provocations

Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Saturday evening that defenders destroyed a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft in the Donetsk region. “Good job, guys!” said the President of Ukraine.
A daily speech by Volodymyr Zelensky appeared online. “I would like to talk today about the soldiers of the 110th separate mechanized brigade. Today, in the Donetsk region, they shot down another Russian Su-25. Good job, guys!” announced the President of Ukraine on Saturday.
The latest report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicated that since the beginning of the war, Russia has already lost 348 aircraft.

The Ukrainian president also warned his country’s citizens of possible Russian provocations during the Orthodox and Greek Catholic Easter celebrated on Sunday. He appealed to avoid gatherings, which could become the target of enemy army attacks.
He noted that several attacks in Ukraine occurred during the day. He recalled that the Russians hit Kharkiv, Odesa, the Dnipropetrovsk region, and the Donetsk region.
“Even on the eve of Easter, Russian evil does not lessen its desire to bring us to ruin... It is important to be as vigilant as possible, " Zelensky emphasised.
